the art of hooks. i say hook it up.

Ok, so you know I love chandeliers. But, did you know that I have issues with bathroom hardware? I know. The list keeps growing. I don’t know what it is, but I just can’t handle traditional bathroom hardware. My vote? Throw out the towel rings. Throw out the towel bars. Instead, hook it up.

Why am I such a crazy person about this? Who knows. It’s probably the Type-A in me that can’t handle when things are crooked or hanging sideways. And the reality is I’ve got kids and they have yet to master the art of a perfectly folded towel hung on a towel bar.

To help transform our space from builder-grade to a more custom space I use hooks in all of our bathrooms. Not only does it give each space its own look, but it also {I fully admit} gets rid of some of my anxiety with towels that are hung haphazardly.

Here is a quick glimpse of how we make each of our bathrooms a little more unique than our next door neighbor’s.

There you go. The art of {hooks}. No two hooks have to be the same. I like to think of it as an inexpensive way to add a custom touch to your own home. Won’t you try some hooks in your home too?

try. enjoy. share.

I am always on the lookout for hooks. I usually find them at small boutiques or have found several at Hobby Lobby or Anthropologie. Stay tuned for Thursday… I went on a hunt for hooks for readers and will have links to some of my favorites. Thanks for following along, K!

    Chandeliers & hooks!!! ha!

Love them hooks. I’m on board with that too. Looks better, more detail and personal touch, plus you can hang more towels with less room :). Yay!

I know. The list keeps growing. But, at least hooks help with my type A tendencies. At least that’s what I tell myself!
