chalkboard wall. february. love.

All you need is love. Isn’t that right? One of my favorite songs and a reason to spread the love. Happy February. Happy hearts. Time to bust out those valentines or perhaps you are helping your kids get them started.

For this month, celebrate the season. The red. The pink. The hearts. The L-O-V-E. And, another Valentine’s day.

Our February chalkboard wall. A place where we share a little extra love and a silly conversation heart message.

The theme for this month? Everything and anything sweet.

one. write a silly conversation heart message.
Our conversation heart message is proudly displayed on our chalkboard wall compliments of my little man. He loves {really, really} those lil’ sweetheart candies, so this project had him hook, line and sinker.

His job? To pick out silly conversation heart messages and see if we could create a little letter with them. Yes, he did need a little help {he is only 4 ya know!}, but he loved this. His favorite was “will you marry me?” because he thought it was so silly to ask at the end.

Try it with your little ones. What will you come up? Use colored chalk to correspond to the hearts you pick out from your own package. Be silly. Be creative. Have fun.

two. a song.
Can you really go wrong with a song by the Beatles? Surely not. And, a little reminder of what this month is all about. LOVE. Write it. Sing it. Chalk it. Oh, how I love thee Beatles.

1-Feb Chalk

May your February be full of everything and anything pink or red. And, be sure to give a few extra {loves} to those around you. The perfect time of year to do so!

try. enjoy. share.
